Our client is a highly respected and forward thinking charitable organisation based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will bring their experience in strategic planning and development to this long established charity that is in the process of reviewing of reviewing its mission and purpose.
TO BE SUITABLE FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST BE
• The successful applicant will be CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified
• Experience of accounting in a complex organisation
• Experience of supervising a team
• Evidence of knowledge of legislation as applies to companies and charities
• Strong communication skills to deal with all levels of staff
• Comfortable using computerised accounting systems, MS Office and Excel.
THE ROLE
• Participate in the Senior Management Team and contribute to the strategic development of the organisation.
• Oversee IT and fundraising strategy
• Present the monthly finance report to the Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team.
• Provide financial projections, financial analysis and reports.
• Prepare and update the Business Continuity Plan.
• Complete all statutory returns including PAYE/NI, P11D’s and VAT
• Co-ordinate all budget preparations both monthly and annually.
• Manage cash flow forecast.
• Management of accounts staff
