The role
Reporting to the HR Manager and part of a small team you will provide an administrative and support role within the HR function.
Main duties include -
Updating and amending data on the computerised HR system and producing required reports and queries
Producing Access Control passes for new starters, temporary workers and visitors including taking photographs
Working with the HR Manager to maintain recruitment records, liaise with employment agencies to advise them of new vacancies, arranging appointments for selection interviews and administering psychometric tests.
Liaising with company retail and remote site managers regarding staff data and staff related issues
Producing disciplinary letters and maintaining accurate records and when required to attend meetings to take notes
Preparing offer letters and issuing terms and conditions
Preparing exit data and documents
Attending exit interviews and producing accurate transcripts for management team
General HR office administration duties including payroll changes notification, letters and memos
Providing HR support to the management team
The person
You should have a background in a generalist HR operational role at Administration level. You should have strong administrative skills, with experience of using Lotus Notes and MS Office. If you have had experience of Vizual Personnel Director that would be an advantage. A Certificate in Personnel Practice would also be preferred.
You should have strong organisational and communication skills and be comfortable at working at a fast pace in a busy demanding environment.
