My client, a well respected firm based in Manchester, are looking to recruit an experienced IVA drafter. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 12 months debt management/IVA experience and live with reasonable travelling distance of the city centre. Basic salary upto £19k dependent upon experience.
Drafting
To verify existing information and to collect and analyse further information and documents from the client as required by use of telephone, letter writing and/or email.
To draft accurate proposals, appendices and nominees reports within agreed timetable for review by the Team Leader.
Preparing file in advance of meeting of creditors
Meeting of Creditors
Good negotiation skills required to ensure the best result for all parties is achieved at the meeting of creditors
Chasing documentation in advance of meeting
Ensuring statutory deadlines including case registration and filing of court documentation is adhered to following meeting of creditors
Time management skills required to ensure that statutory deadlines are met
Building and maintaining professional relationships with creditors.
Supervisory
Drafting accurate variation reports for failure/full and finals/reduced contributions within agreed timescale.
Drafting accurate annual reports within agreed timescale.
Dealing with case management on a timely basis.
Drafting annual reviews within agreed timescale.
Reconciling and agreeing creditor claims
Calculating and administering dividend payments to creditors
Drafting and administering case closures
