We are looking for an experienced Conference Sales Manager to work within a four star hotel in the Blackburn area that will secure Conference Sales and successfully translate clients needs to a successful conclusion by great sales techniques; sound understanding of guest needs and effective transference to the Operational team for implementation. You will be required to maximise selling opportunities at all functions, events, conferences etc and provide a professional and positive guest experience.
This position requires someone with outstanding customer service commitment; a huge sense of ownership; great team working and a real passion for hospitality.
Proven successful experience in a similar role within a comparable brand/product is essential. High level event management skills are important as are personal organisational techniques, ensuring sound plans and controls are in place in all events. An excellent communicator that is able to tailor their approach dependant on the audience. With good listening and questioning skills you confirm accuracy of clients needs. You build communication systems to ensure that everyone who needs to be updated on various events gets the information they need. You will have a natural aptitude for \\\'Getting Things Done\\\' and be proactive and positive, thriving in this busy and productive role.
