Operations (Manager) /Contract Director- East Midlands- £50-60k

My client is a company that operates within a variety of organisations within a National Group offering a diverse range of complementary services and skills giving their clients the opportunity to assign their project to a number of specialist companies.
Services range from main contracting on a traditional, design and build or partnering basis, to specialist sub-contracting covering most construction related disciplines.
Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team in their East Midlands office.
My client is a national specialist in fit out, refurbishment and new build. The company operates in the retail, leisure, education and corporate office sectors with an international capability.
As a pivotal element, they aim to be the first choice for all retail and leisure clients in the delivery of their project needs. They are able to demonstrate quality, expertise and attention to detail at every stage of the project life-cycle. This, alongside their commitment to innovate and lead through understanding their client needs, maintains their objective of an exacting business model that is based on repeat business levels in excess of 80%

The successful candidate will have to assume full delivery responsibility for regional fit out projects; the ideal person will have excellent managing interfacing skills and experience of supporting the pre contract team in winning work. As the business develops, the individual will be tasked with building teams to deliver to the highest standards. The promotion of a strong Health and Safety culture is essential.
In summary, this individual will be a key player in further developing the business and brand into the regional fit out market.
