    This exciting opportunity is in the heart of the sales business of Bupa where you’ll need to use your keen selling skills to win new Company-Paid group schemes. This will be done actively via the phone, predominantly on an outbound basis, with a mixture of cold calling from marketing activity and warm calls from leads generated. The job holder will deal directly with the company decision maker and be responsible for all negotiation processes. It’s a fast moving and motivating environment and you’ll need to be 100% focused on achieving results. Fantastic team orientated work environment with an emphasis on rewarding good performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Talking to potential customers in an engaging, confident and professional manner
    • Understanding and articulating the benefits of Bupa
    • Ensuring every customer is treated fairly and individually
    • Gaining trust in order to identify needs and influence sales decisions
    • Liaising with internal departments, to resolve any issues concerning product knowledge
    • Accurately maintaining and updating all computerised systems and records
    • Accountable for own targets and prioritising own workload
    • Supporting team spirit to ensure sharing of knowledge, ideas and skills

    Specific Skills

    • Considerable sales or customer service experience (ideally gained within a sales centre/call centre)
    • The determination to achieve and exceed set targets
    • Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills
    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills
    • Good time management skills, to ensure workloads are completed
    • Able to influence, persuade and close a sale
    • Knowledge of Bupa’s products and services
    • Computer literate
