Internal Sales Engineer - £22k OTE £28k
We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Engineer required to work in the Inside Sales Department providing sales support to the Regional Sales teams for a leader in the provision of measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering
Duties:-
Handling incoming customer enquiries by telephone, e-mail and fax
Handling of customer enquiries received via action reports from external Field Sales Engineers.
Preparation of quotes
Liaise with Product Specialists for non-standard applications
Quotation follow-ups
Liaise with Field Sales Engineers
Own and manage all customer issues
High quality customer liaison during quote phase
Learn Product Knowledge via formal training and on the job training
Gain knowledge and understanding of commercial awareness
Attend training courses and workshops as required
Previous work experience in the process industry or with instrumentation is essential or alternatively commercial sales experience
We are looking for a good communicator with an excellent telephone manner. You will have great interpersonal skills and a high regard for exceptional customer service, computer literate, able to multi-task, able to work under pressure and must be able to work as a team member and also as an individual
