School of Environment and Development Institute for Development Policy and Management (IDPM)

The University of Manchester seeks to make an appointment of a Lecturer in Globalisation and Development, in the Institute for Development Policy and Management (IDPM) in the School of Environment and Development. The Lectureship is for a period of one year in the first instance. The appointment will contribute to research and teaching in the fast-developing field of global production networks, trade and work in the context of developing countries. Duties will include teaching on core courses Transformation in the Global Economy; Global Institutions, Trade and Development; and, Work and Employment in the Global Economy; as well as acting as Programme Director for the MSc Globalisation and Development.
