Applications are invited for a Research Administrator to work within the School of Community Based Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an established and friendly team. With at least previous administration experience the post-holder will be required to Assist the Manchester-based Programme Co-Director and Liverpool based Programme Co-ordinator for the NIHR R&D Programme with the day-to-day co-ordination and administration of Programme activities; financial administration, monitoring and collating progress reports.

The post holder will be required to assist with organising meetings, taking personal responsibility for the discharge of particular area(s) of programme administration. Making appointments for members of the research team and liaising with community and health service organisations and members of the public by telephone providing information about the Programme.

You will work alongside academic staff on established and ongoing research programmes producing high quality academic and applied research.

This position is available from the 17 May 2010 for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Salary
£18,117 - £20,327 p.a.
