Job Description


Role profile: Outbound sales advisor
Reporting to: Team manager
Function: Sales
Salary: £16,000 (£28,000 OTE)
Hours: 42

Job Purpose:
To professionally deal with all potential clients to establish if they have been miss-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) and see if they are eligible to make a claim, then passing leads to the confirmation manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Use available sources to assess leads and obtain relevant info for successful claims
• Carry out brief telephone interview with client to ascertain their full financial history using appropriate questioning
• Pass info along to confirmation manager and record info correctly on the computer system
• Meet objectives/targets set by the line manager and continue to improve performance
• To work within Ministry of Justice and Data Protection guidelines
• Additional duties may be assigned as the role evolves

Key Skills and Experience:
• Outbound calls/sales experience
• Experience in a sale environment with excellent customer service and knowledge and skills
• Must have previous experience of meeting and exceeding targets
• Be able to comply with procedure and understand why it needs to be followed
• Strong telephone manner/communication being able to deal with a variety of internal/external customers at all levels
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, using own initiative being able to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines
• Resilient and flexible in a demanding, fast-paced environment as a team player

Hours and Working Conditions:
• Rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday between 10am and 9pm and one Saturday in every three 10am to 4pm.
• 40 minute lunch break and two 10 minute breaks.
• Excellent access to local transport links
• Currently 60 employees, hoping to expand to a team of about 80-90, taking on 10-12 a week.
