Venn Group has been approached by one of its largest public sector clients in Bolton to recruit a Principal Accountant to join their professional team on an interim basis.

As a valued member of the team, you will be reporting into the Group Accountant. The successful applicant will have detailed experience of producing both financial and management accounts. You will be responsible for financial and budget monitoring, preparing detailed forecasts and reporting to budget holders. The key aspects of the role will be summarising financial information on Excel and meeting with and relaying complex financial information to budget holders.
Local Authority Housing Revenue Account experience and Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookups are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will hold a CCAB qualification or part qualified CCAB qualification and have specific Local Authority trading services experience. The successful applicant will have excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
