Commis Chef

£12,500 plus quality accommodation.

Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Commis Chef to join one of the UKs leading Outdoor Activity providers as a Commis Chef. Using fresh local, seasonal ingredients, you will be responsible for producing quality well balanced menus for school children of all ages as well the staff accompanying them. This position requires someone with a passion for food and a genuine interest in progressing their career. Quality accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Working closely with the Chef Manager, you will provide hands support in all sections of the kitchen to ensure that the team delivers a consistently high standard of service. You will have some responsibility for motivating and overseeing the team and you will have an input into the menu plans.

To succeed in the position you will enjoy working as part of a busy team and will have studied to NVQ level 2 and hold a food hygiene certificate. References will be required as well as a CRB check.
