Role Summary and Overview: In demonstrating a strong understanding of the organisation’s aims and objectives, the job holder will be responsible for assisting the Group Sales and Marketing Director with all activities. • ‘Fire-fighting’, forward planning to resolve issues before they arise. • Extensive diary management – foreseeing potential clashes, handling and responding accordingly, cancelling and rescheduling, dealing with internal and external requests for availability. • Organising all travel logistics. • Organising logistics for visits on and off site. • Dealing with urgent phone calls/queries/emails/problems in the absence of the Group Sales and Marketing Director. • Fielding phone calls and dealing with persistent sales calls. • Using an advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word, the job-holder will be responsible for putting together business proposals for business and client meetings. • Producing reports using substantial proficiency in Excel. • Taking minutes for board-meetings. • Any adhoc tasks required by Sales and Marketing team. Essential Experience: • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook • Solid experience in diary management (using Outlook) and organising travel. • Confidentiality is key to this role - candidates must be able to handle tasks with the utmost discretion. • High degree of detail orientation essential. • Strong organisational skills. • Must be able to think ahead and plan for every eventuality Desirables • Good business understanding gained from working in a Sales and Marketing driven environment. • Experience in formatting data, statistics and key sales literature. • An understanding of contact centre operations Personal Attributes: Candidates for this role should demonstrate an enthusiasm for working within a new and challenging role. The ideal candidate will be process driven, be able to think outside of the box, will be able to pre-empt situations before they occur and must be confident to high volume statistics and figures. The role holder must demonstrate an ability to deal with internal and external contacts on a professional level. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to successfully managing their own workload and proactively working to tight deadlines. Remuneration: Salary: up to £30k Dependent on Experience |
