A well-established household name currently leading the way within a very competitive industry has a requirement for a Graduate Credit Risk Analyst to be based out of their Manchester Head Quarters. The position will see the successful candidate work alongside a number a experienced Credit Risk Analysts where both internal and external training will be provided from day 1.

You
Due to the analytical content of the role, The Company will only accept applications from candidates with a Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Operational Research degree. The role will be suited to graduates looking to begin a long term career within Credit Risk and Data Analysis, training plays a large part of the role for a number of years as you will be developing knowledge within the latest analytical and statistical techniques used within Credit Risk.

The Role
Developing Credit risk models, manage a range of analytical projects from conception
Through to delivery, implement statistical scorecards to drive credit decisions, assists
in the upkeep of documentation of the relevant strategies and scorecard / decision
systems, Analyse and interpret complex information in line with business
requirements and Continually identifies areas for business improvement and makes
recommendations for their implementation.

In Return
Training within specialist statistical / mathematical techniques to analyse data (SAS / SQL), training within statistical model building, training within Credit Risk methodologies and how they are applied within finance, the building of Credit Scorecards.
