Our client is a leading software specialist.

The Role:
Responsible for a team of office and field based Sales People. The role is responsible for Customer acquisition, growth and development and delivering revenues.

As a Field Sales Team Manager the key areas of responsibility are to drive new customer acquisition through development of your people. Lead and develop business plans and objectives to support the Accountants Division Sales Strategy.

This role requires someone with New Business experience, either field or office based. This role also requires a balance of time within the Manchester office and in the field (UK wide). Sales Management experience is desirable.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, exceptional customer focus, a strong team player, a desire to achieve targets and a passion to develop skills. You should have a sound commercial awareness and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
· Proactively identify and win new customers, promote growth and development within their welcome cycle through your team
· Responsible for ensuring planning, co-ordinating and delivery of regional based seminars to increase new customer acquisition within agreed target regions
· Provide clear objectives to direct reports to ensure business objectives and goals are achieved
· Report effectively and accurately all pipeline, appointments, sales and business plans to the Sales Manager regularly and pro-actively
· Work with Marketing to develop Promotional Activity and measure the success of campaigns
· Demonstrate creativity in planning, approach and delivery of the New Business Sales Strategy.


Key Skills required for the role will include:
· Previous New Business field sales experience and/or experience of working with Accountants in practice
· Sales Team Management experience would be desirable
· Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
· Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload
· Understanding of key commercial drivers for Accountants Division
· Understanding of Account Management techniques and ability to coach these skills
· Strong Commercial Acumen

Candidates should have a full and valid driving licence
