| Graduate, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Credit Risk, Analyst, Analysis, Banking, Financial Services, Statistics, Modelling, Manchester, North, North west. The Company International Bank awarded for its investment with people, renowned for their employee training and drenched in consumer awards for their financial products. Currently looking to add additional Analysts within Credit Risk at the Graduate Level due to significant internal promotions. Credit Risk Department The Credit Risk Department has the responsibility for the optimisation of credit risk for Retail, Corporate and Wholesale products. The scope of the departments activities and the areas you will receive training in include: Development of credit / behavioural scoring models and systems Development of strategy for the control of bad debt, including bad debt forecasting. Recommendation and implementation of credit risk strategies and policy Ensuring timely and accurate production of comprehensive risk reports on the effectiveness of credit risks systems and policy. Adhering to all the relevant regulation and legislation affecting the management of Credit Risk including achieving Basel II compliance. Maintaining a responsible lending view at all times. Reflecting industry trends, UK consumer lending and market conditions at all times. Successful candidates The criteria is simple, a degree ideally within Mathematics, Statistics or Operational Research (Or similar Numerical degree). The degree grade is the higher the better and should be complimented by strong A level grades. A genuine interest within Banking and Finance, and a keen eye for problem solving and analysis is also required. In Return You will spend the majority of your initial months with the company attending internal and external training courses within some of the more advanced analytical and statistical tools and techniques used within the industry (SAS, Scorecard Modelling). Specific goals and objectives will be set out from day 1 with career progression being visible and attainable.
