After 21 years in the industry we are undergoing expansion and as a result we are building up our account management team. We posses an impressive portfolio of regular clients and need organised individuals with the excellent inter-personal skills to effectively manage these accounts and maintain good relationships.
We specialise in technical and financial recruitment and deal with blue chip organisations and small SMEs around the UK. Supplying hard to find staff is one of the ways we have build up our reputation within the industry. We have also developed a unique way of training our staff and have excellent in-house trainers. Receiving expertise from senior management means you will gain a wealth of experience in all aspects of the role.
The Position and Duties:
No day will be the same, once you have undergone sufficient training to set you on your way you will be faced with a number of projects. Account management does not only mean maintaining good relationships, but also developing relationships further to improve profitability. You will improve your client facing and presentation skills through visiting clients on site and acting as a problem solver in relation to recruitment needs. Within the recruitment process there will be an emphasis on advertising to attract the best candidates. This is an on-going process which requires organisation, creativity and vision. Negotiation is another skill you will use daily to make money and improve service levels. Other aspects of the role will involve; interviewing candidates, business development and marketing. Incorporating all of these skills should be exciting to you and will prove priceless in developing your career.
Is This Environment For You?
We usually look to recruit high-calibre graduates, or individuals with a strong educational background (Educated to A-level) Being determined and ambitious will go a long way in this role. You will need to be super organised and have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate over the telephone. Basic PC literacy will be important as well as the ability to pick up new skills quickly and implement training.
On the rewards front, this role should be for you. Financial rewards are excellent. A generous commission structure on top of basic salary should see you earning around 25-30k OTE in your first year, this will rise with experience and ambition.
