Full Description:
I have a postion for a IBM Mainframe - Analyst Programmer to work in either a support or
development team based in Queensferry - wales


N.B. It is preferable if the candidate has previous experience of
working on a MSP Billing system



Requirement



*IBM Mainframe application experience (on-line and Batch) -
including use of TSO, JCL, CICS, COBOL, DB2 databases, SCLM (or similar)
and VSAM files
*APS (used as Code Generator for COBOL), MFEEE (training will be
provided if necessary)
*Good problem solving ability
*Technical Analysis
*Good team working skills
*Positive, flexible, 'can do', enthusiastic attitude
*A working approach that is thorough, methodical and
conscientious
*Good oral and written communication skills
*Ability to produce quality work to time and budget
*Previous experience with Incident Resolution or Development
*Producing Technical Specifications
*Writing and testing software
*Defect resolution


Desirable(for development role):-


*SQL, MS Project, TICTOC (or similar), TestDirector, OPC
*An understanding of testing disciplines and methodologies

*Understanding and inputting to Technical design solutions
