Full Description:
Due to expansion we are recruiting for an experienced Merchandiser to join a Rochdale based manufacturing company.

You will work as part of a well established team, carrying out the following duties...
· First point of contact for various customers within the public sector, hotels, hospitals etc
· Critical path management
· Liaising with factories abroad
· Liasing with technical department to ensure timely production
· Obtaining lead times in order to calculate achievable delivery dates
· Liasing with Production Planning departments regarding delivery dates
· Liasing with product developers on bills of materials in order to compile accurate costings
· Maintaining detailed costing spreadsheets
· Constantly highlighting potential issues and informing relevant parties of any issues arising
· Constant communication with customers on product progress etc
· All other relevant tasks associated with a busy production office
· Maintain customer records using in-house system, review and update as necessary.

You must be a strong communicator and be able to multi task. You will be trained on the in-house system, however you must have a good working knowledge on Microsoft Office.

Salary is dependant on relevant experience circa £16,000 - £20,000. Hours are Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5pm.
