We are looking for a senior sales executive with a strong background in recruitment consultancy, media sales, key account management or online advertising who will relish the opportunity to be the face of a FTSE 100 Market Leading Media Advertising Business.
The Company
Our client is the established market leader in online recruitment for the Hospitality industry. Over the past 4 years they have continuously expanded and now advertise over 22,000 vacancies across the UK.With year on year revenue growth in excess of 40% they carry more jobs, more companies and generate more applications than any of their competitors.
The Scottish office was launched in December 07 and due to its rapid growth and success there are now plans to further expand this sales operation to fully capitalise on this lucrative market. They now seek a highly motivated, target-driven and organised sales manager to join the team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of three key account managers currently managing the largest corporate employers, recruitment consultants and advertising agency clients based across the North of England. In addition this position will also be responsible for establishing and managing a small team in the Northern Ireland market. Full support and coaching will be given by the website’s management team, with the task of contributing to the sales strategy, tactics and direction of this regional office as the business grows.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of the sales team
People development.
Direct the sales focus to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve the business objectives.
Provide focussed and measured coaching and support for all team members.
Produce consistent performance measures, measuring both effort and results.
Collation of financial and analytical information.
Advocate sales standards and processes, ensuring the team understands and delivers on what is expected of them.
Maintain a full understanding of online recruitment, competitive sites and market conditions
Develop exceptional working relationships with all customers, establishing their recruitment needs and providing appropriate commercial advice.
Establish strong strategic relationships with clients, leading to the positioning of the website as first choice for all current and future hospitality recruitment in the Scotland and Northern Ireland
Develop new revenues from a large client base, making the most of all opportunities
Networking with clients at a senior level to ensure market and customer intelligence are at the standards required by the customer base
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A passion for winning New Business
A good understanding of the recruitment business, including the role of the internet
Excellent Sales ability both on the telephone and face to face
You will be used to hitting targets in a fast-moving online business
First class negotiation skills with experience of contract negotiation at a senior level
First class planning and organisation skills
Good solid sales management experience from a similar background
Sales performance management skills.
Excellent people management skills
The ability to lead and truly inspire / motivate people.
Detailed understanding of on-line sales and all on-line revenue streams.
The ability to develop and execute strategy to deliver results.
Analytical and reporting skills
