| My client is an automotive retailer based in the central area of Manchester. They are a part of a very large worldwide operation and a household brand name marque. They are currently recruiting for a New Vehicle Sales Manager to join their substantial operation. The Position:- The role of New Vehicle Sales Manager is forecourt based in Manchester and involves working as part of the Sales team to follow the retail sales process on new vehicles from start until completion, prospecting new customers whilst retaining the loyalty of existing customers. The successful candidate will have automotive managerial experience, ideally from a volume manufacturer and be looking for a fresh challenge. The ideal candidates will be educated to a good general standard with a sales background. The ability to work under pressure and to targets is required. Proven Man-management skills and the ability to motivate staff. Excellent communication skills, both face to face and telephone based. Key skills are resilience, positive personality, good interpersonal skills, time management, professional presentation at all times and the ability to work some evenings and weekends.
