| A large company based near the Trafford Centre are looking to employ a First Line Manager to work nights in their state of the art offices. The company has been established for over 150 years and are forever growing due to internal promotion and an increase in staff. As the Night Shift Manager you will be assisting the control centre manager with the management of service level agreements. Yours hours of work will be 40 hours per week between 7.00pm - 7.00am and you may need to work weekends and bank hols. The role as Night Shift Manager will be to: *To performance management the team on a daily basis to ensure targets *To conduct staff disciplinary and absence interviews including return to work *Conduct the 3 month performance reviews and annual appraisals *Be responsible for the management and resourcing of work rosters, authorising holidays and managing absence *Liaise with the centre manager and HR to ensure the facilitation of training and development activity *Provide effective leadership to promote and maintain good working relationships *Ensure all standard operational procedures are adhered *Ensure the effective deployment of resources to identify fault trends and to instigate remedial action In order to be successful as the Night Shift Manager, you will need to have: *Good coaching and feedback skills *Posses or prepared to work for a management qualification - Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) *Ability to analyse trends and identify root causes *Strong sensitivity to the needs of others *Excellent planning skills *Management experience *Excellent communication skills In return for working as the Night Shift Managers position you will receive: *Salary of between 21000 - 23000 *Support to gain qualifications *Free and secure Parking *Pension *25 days holiday This is a NIGHT SHIFT position. |
