Technical Business Analyst

£38,176- £40,000 + bonus + benefits

This role is a good opportunity for a technical business analyst to take on a position offering more responsibility and variation. Working very closely with programme, project managers and stakeholders you will provide analysis on projects and pre-project activities. This role will be a good match for a BA who can bring fresh ideas, creativity and long term vision to the table.
Due to the variation this position will offer progression and upwards movement is a very real possibility. You will expand your skills in project support and project management. You will also be involved in customer facing, requirement gathering and consultancy. You will also still have a hand in the more technical side of the role with involvement in software development projects, mostly web projects.
The salary for this position is generous and is boosted by a bonus scheme and excellent benefits.
My client is looking for candidates with proven business analysis experience. The industry in which you have worked is not an issue, my client is more interested in your skills and ambition. You will need a good understanding of the project lifecycle and previous technical experience in hands on development or managing development projects. A good understanding of software such as; Java, JSP, Servlets, HTML and Unix will be preferable. You will need proven experience of working closely with project managers or departmental managers, discussing technical requirements and reporting on a project progress.
Your interpersonal skill are crucial to make a success of this role. You will need to maintain a good relationship with managers and customers and ensure the whole team understand the end objective. Your communication skills must be excellent and you should have an aptitude for trouble shooting and problem solving. Creativity is vital. You will input ideas, be open to learn new skills/ technologies and be forward thinking in your day to day approach.
