| I am looking for a 2nd line Support Engineer to work for a major blue-chip organisation. The successful consultant will have the following skill sets below. 1.Diagnostic checks and maintenance tasks on core infrastructure Checking Ethernet LAN links and links to WAN, diagnosing location of faults, resolving or escalating to relevant third-party. Checking Windows based server backups and changing tapes Carry out daily checks on servers and periodic server maintenance tasks PC builds/rebuilds to documented standards Administration of new Active Directory & iSeries accounts & passwords Configuration of network printers Software installations 1.Servers Windows 2003, 2000 and NT4 server Backup Exec SQL Citrix 2.Desktops Windows XP Professional, 2000 Professional, NT4 Microsoft Office 2000 Lotus Notes 3.Support Applications Remote control software Statistics and failure alerting monitoring tools Dell server and desktop tools |
