| My client, based in Prestwich, North Manchester requires an experienced project manager to work on a 3 month fixed term contract. This NHS Trust provides health an social care mental health services across Bolton, Salford and Trafford. The Trust is seeking to procure and implement a Business Intelligence solution, combining a data warehouse that will integrate the clinical and business systems, data and reporting system that will provide the Trust with a more effective way of manipulating data and reporting; making available a data dashboard and drill down facilities. As part of the first phase of this work, the Trust requires a project consultant for 3 months to develop a full business case for the project. Key skills sought include: · Project management experience using Prince2 · Business case development · Ability to work with mangers, clinicians and other key stakeholders · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Good documentation and record keeping skills · Drive and enthusiasm to ensure the project succeeds · A focus on benefits realisation The trust are looking for a specialist candidate who must have the following skills: · Educated to degree level or equivalent · Demonstrable Project Management skills · Familiarity with the NHS systems · Principles, methods, techniques and tools for effective project management · Risk assessment skills · Techniques associated with planning and control · Experience of using Prince2 and other such packages including MS Project · Ample management experience including exposure at a senior level · Excellent communication skills · Strong analytical/judgmental skills · Able to use own initiative · Able to negotiate and influence others |
