| **MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS** Up to 35,500 + Benefits MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS- GREATER MANCHESTER AREA EXCELLENT SALARY+ FANTASTIC BENEFITS Based at a prestigious site in Greater Manchester this is a global organization who provide development, delivery and support of advanced systems is currently going through a massive period of change, with the introduction of new products and a future new site to increase capacity. In order to ensure a smooth transition period they are currently recruiting a number of additional specialist engineers to join their existing team including Manufacturing Engineers. In a two-fold approach to improving the site manufacturing efficiencies, you will ensure the new products are implemented into the new site effectively and that the already existing processes are improved. In the role of Manufacturing Engineer you will identify objectives for improvements focusing on areas such as 5's, OEE and TPM. In this role you will be empowered to implement your own ideas and make changes you believe will improve the working environment. You will work closely with both the shop floor and the management team, encouraging, educating and mentoring all employees to ensure understanding and buy-in to lean manufacturing across the site. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast moving manufacturing environment, where quality, cost and delivery are paramount. Industries that transfer well into this environment include automotive, aerospace and any high unit volume manufacture.
