| Atomic Design are looking for an experienced PHP developer to join our busy and expanding new media department. We specialise in producing and marketing bespoke websites and web applications for our clients. This role does not involve web design, so please only apply if you have good development experience. Responsibilities: * Working as part of a team. * Develop systems that meet functional specifications. * Work closely with designers for look and feel aspects. * Conduct unit testing of all your own code. Skills Required: * Be skilled at developing with PHP commercially. * Good experience of using MySQL commercially and awareness of MS SQL solutions. * Commercial experience in using XHTML and CSS at the most fundamental levels along with good knowledge of JavaScript. * Experience of object oriented PHP. * Good communication skills. * Awareness of the need for search engine friendly code. * Ability to work to strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will have obvious commercial experience developing a number of websites including e-commerce sites. A portfolio of sites would be very advantageous. |
