    Home Manager
    Based in Didsbury
    £30 - £38k

    Skills Required
    • Ist Level Nurse (Nursing Care Centre) or NVQ Level 3 in Care of the Elderley (Residential Care Centre)
    • Previous management / supervisory experience
    • Registered Manager’s Award (achieved / working towards), or equivalent qualification
    • Full driving licence
    • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA list (where applicable)

    Desired
    • Minimum 3 years management / supervisory experience

    Main Responsibilities
    • Through continuous assessment and supervision, ensure all Staff Members maintain high standards, and contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Care Centre and to the creation of an atmosphere conductive to the best interests of Clients
    • Monitor Care Plan documentation & undertake weekly review to ensure best practice
    • Undertake general nursing & personal care as appropriate to Clients’ needs
    • Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Clients’ personal and financial affairs, and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship that exists with Clients
    • Liaise with the Chef / Cook to ensure that the storage, preparation, cooking and serving of food meet required standards, and the dietary needs of Clients
    • Produce reports (verbal or written) as and when required
    • Attain agreed levels of turnover and profitability
    • Ensure all Staff Members are aware of the Company’s Whistleblowing procedure
    • Formally supervise / appraise staff Members in line with Company Policy
    • Implement & initiate training for all Staff Members on the Company’s Equal Opportunities Policy
    • Manage the staff rota
    • Adhere to all appropriate NMC guigelines / regulations and the General Social Care Council Code of Conduct
    • Investigate complaints, as and when required
