An opportunity has arisen for a legal secretary with experience within conveyancing to work for a charitable institution based in central Manchester who acts as custodian for various church properties.
The legal secretary will support the senior management team and perform a wide variety of duties including audio and copy typing of correspondence of legal documents, diary keeping, arranging meetings and taking minutes, ensuring filing etc is kept up to date and act as point of liaison to communicate effectively with team members.
You will need to have copy typing speeds in excess of 55 wpm and audio typing speeds in excess of 45 wpm combined with a high level of computer literacy across, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, a good general standard of education and the ability to work to deadlines and multi task.
An excellent salary package with initial starting salary £15,140 with a final salary pension scheme, holidays are 25 days in the first year rising eventually to 30 days plus an additional three days over the Christmas period and bank holidays. After three months there is the opportunity of a pay review and in November there will be a cost of living rise plus an increase within the paygrade.
The successful applicant will work a 35 hour week Monday to Friday.
