PA/HR person reporting to Chairman / Managing Director dealing with HR issues on a day to day basis and support Chairman as and when required.
Immediate line manager is Client Services Director, but also report to Managing Director and Chairman - liaison with All staff/Suppliers/Clients
All HR administration - contracts, appraisals, offer letters, personnel files, holidays/sickness, organising work placements, organising training requirements
Recruitment - interviewing
Grievance - employee and employer
Liaising with legal helpine
PA
Typing - usually via dictation directly to PC
Diary management
Travel arrangements
New business presentations/letters/emails
Tender Documents
Dealing with clients in MSH absence
Personal documentation
Organising meetings
Collation of monthly Board packs/typing of Board minutes
MAP Network administration
Health & Safety
Risk assessments
General administration and record keeping
Weekly fire alarm tests
Monthly emergency lighting tests

Reception cover - lunch hours and holidays (shared with Office Manager)
Supporting Office Manager (dealing with all issues in absence)
Education:
GCSE/O Level
Experience:
3 years experience as PA with HR knowledge
Special Knowledge:
Relevant industry knowledge if possible, HR knowledge essential
Computer Literacy:
Word, Excel, Powerpoint - to a high standard
Competent in the use of IT including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Good Attention to Detail
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills - dealing with people at all levels
Good time management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
GCSE A/B or O'Level equivalent

Hours - 9.00am - 5.30pm - but some flexibility will be required
Lunch - 1 hour
Holidays - 20 days + stats rising after 3 years by 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 25 days
