Vacancy within Corporate Credit Risk working for a leading Banking & Financial Services organisation situated in the centre of Manchester.
The Role
To work as part of a small specialist team of risk/model analysts undertaking investigation, analysis and making recommendations for the design, build and testing of new credit risk grading models and refinements to existing models.
Specific Duties include enfold:
Manage resolution/amendments to credit and behavioural scoring models and processes under the guidance of Modelling and Analytics manager.
Maintain, operate and produce reports on a Champion Challenger type of activity to monitor the performance of risk models
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and control of procedures, systems and model methodologies that will meet rigorous QA requirements and those of the Basel regulators
Analyse, collate and manipulate wide variety of internal and external sources of data to contribute to the enhancement of risk management strategies.
Experience required for prospective applicants
The ideal candidate will be a Corporate Credit Risk Modeller with SAS knowledge from the Banking Industry. The Modelling & Analytics manager is however willing to be flexible on a number of criteria. Candidates with general credit risk or customer insight / marketing experience possessing sound analytical skills (Ideally SAS) are also welcome to apply.
Benefits / Additional Information
Salary - £23,000 - £32,000
