We are on the hunt for payroll people on behalf of our prestigious Wigan based client. We have a special opportunity where you can train while you work to become a QA Tester.
This role is based with the IT development team where they produce payroll software for thousands of businesses throughout the UK. You will focus on the quality assurance (QA) aspects of the software. You will be trained to carry out software application testing, test planning, and functional testing, while supporting the release of the software onto the market. You will see the software develop and you will then make sure it does what it says it should!
All the client wants to see from your CV is that you have worked with payroll in some capacity, whether its from an accounts assistant/ payroll clerk/ or credit controller role etc. You must also be willing to learn and be keen to gain technical knowledge. You must be a great listener in order for you to grasp what the developers want to achieve from the software. Knowledge of Microsoft office applications is essential.

This is an unusual chance to channel your existing payroll knowledge into a completely different role- shake things up a bit and stretch your career!

The client is based in Wigan, easily commutable from Bury, Warrington, St Helens, Manchester, and Bolton. Free on site parking.
