Training Co-ordinator and Business Development

Salary £22-25K, + Upto 15% Bonus
• Responsible for maximising the reservation and booking of places on training courses.
• A major element of the job is the canvassing of customers to generate new training
business.
• This proactive selling activity covers both the filling of standard course places plus the quoting and securing sales of tailored training programmes to meet sales targets.
• There are occasions when it is necessary to visit customer sites in the UK as part of this sales focused role.
• Welcoming and assisting course participants whilst they are at the Training Centre, the preparation of job files for invoicing and the co-ordination of course administrative documentation.
• Ensuring that all courses are equipped with appropriate materials on site or at customer sites throughout the UK is also part of this job.
• This role is involved in managing the library of training material masters and generates weekly reports and schedules for the business.
Applicants should have good PC skills, a professional and helpful manner with excellent customer focus.
Previous experience of working in a sales role would be beneficial.
The ability to work in a team environment, meeting demanding deadlines and achieve results using their own initiative is key to success in this role.
Previous experience of customer handling using Siebel 7 ,(CRM System), TC Manager (Learning Management System), Spiridon and Microsoft Office would be a distinct advantage.
