Full Description:
Our client a leading Business Services Firm requires an Employment Law Consultant for their Manchester office.
You will be responsible for providing accurate telephone support and advice to clients on all aspects of personnel and employment law such as, disciplinary and grievances, trade union activity, harassment and bullying cases, redundancies, workers/self employed status, statutory entitlements and sensitive issues i.e. abuse. Tailoring advice to suit the needs of the individual client and providing supporting documentation as directed by the Advice Manager. Ensuring that employment law knowledge and personnel best practise is continually updated. Passing any referrals to the telesales team, receiving 5% of the completed deal, average deal is £12,000 however referrals are not targeted.
You must have proven HR experience at a senior level, with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to apply academic knowledge to a business context. CIPD is not essential but would be a distinct advantage.
