| Qualified Social Worker with social work experience in local government, voluntary or independent sector. Direct experience of working with relevant client groups, especially those from different racial & cultural backgrounds. To work with a residential Intermediate care setting. Experience of hospital working desirable as is experience of multi-disciplinary working with other professionals. To show demonstration and skills of being able to perform the following tasks: Initiate, draft & produce reports and deal with / record casework, communicate effectively with client groups & professionals in order to assess client needs. To attend & organise case conferences & reviews for the purpose of assessing & monitoring the development of service users. Develop person-centred care plans. Deal with conflict and complaints. Participate within a duty team framework. To show knowledge and understanding of: Relevant statutory social work legislation. Knowledge of the issues relating to the well-being of service users covering a wide range of clients. •Must be registered with the GSCC. Subject to Enhanced CRB clearence and POVA check |
