My client, a well established Main Contractor based in the Lancashire area are now looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on New Build and refurbishment projects throughout Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Activities will comprimise on all different types of Building work in both public and private sectors including Industrial, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Sport & Leisure and Residential.
The role itself will require the suitable candidate to be resposible for the day to day management of the site. You will report to the Contracts Manager and liaise with staff at all levels within the company, subcontractors, consultants and the client, ensuring the finished product is in accordance with all specifications, to the highest standards of workmanship and within budget. Other duties include overseeing the effective and efficient running of the programme as a whole and to comply with the Health and Safety Executive, company Health and Safety Policy and all other Health and Safety Legislation during the works.
Ideal candidates will have over 5 years management experience and a proven track record in management running Design & Build projects upto £5m.
