    HR Team Leader

    Our client, a well-established public sector organisation, is currently recruiting for an HR Team Leader based at their offices in Manchester. Reporting directly to the HR Manager you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a team of 6 administrators within the HR Service Centre.

    · To manage a team of 6 administrators dealing with recruitment and HR administration within the HR Service Centre.
    · Ensure an efficient service is provided in level with key performance indicators and Service Level Agreements.
    · Establish and maintain a high quality of service within the team that meets both client and organisational expectations.
    · Manage the development and use of internal systems such as the company intranet and e-library to facilitate the access of relevant HR material.
    · Produce HR Management Information reports such as sickness, absence, and staff turnover.
    · To manage a range of HR Projects and activities.
    · Effectively manage a team of 6 administrators on a daily basis.
    · Responsible for motivating the team to ensure performance standards are met, identifying training needs, and setting objectives.
    · Monitor and assess the level of service provided to ensure business needs are successfully adhered to.
    · To promote Equal Opportunities and to value diversity ensuring that this is translated into all areas of own work.
    · To undertake additional duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

    It is essential that candidates possess relevant HR and recruitment experience within a similar in-house role. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in order to achieve results. You should demonstrate a pro-active ‘can do’ attitude that will be reflected through your team’s performance.

    Working hours are Monday to Friday based on a 35-hour working week from 8.30am – 4.45pm however flexi-time is also available. You will receive an attractive salary of £22,684 or £24,523 for exceptional candidates plus a company benefits package including 24 days holiday per annum and contributory pension scheme.
