My client is looking for a time served mechanical fitter to join their existing team. The company is a worldwide organisation who specialise in manufacturing large machinery for the paper industry.
The role itself involves building the machines, contributing ideas to drive the business forward, liaising with other departments and travelling Worldwide to install machinery. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, pro-active, health and safety conscious, reliable and flexible.
This is a demanding role which does involve quite a lot of travel however bonuses are paid for working away. The basic rate is 18840 per year and there is overtime available which is paid at time and a half. The role does involve an extensive training program and once this has been completed bonuses will be paid for working away. Other benefits include 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), pension scheme, sick pay scheme and free parking.
