Purchasing & Stock Control Experience ( > 3 years )
Proven Organisation, Administration & Communication Skills
PC Literate - especially Microsoft & Stock Packages
Responsible for purchase order processing, goods returns processing, and stock control - following Company QC and ISO procedures and to ensure the Logistics Department satisfies the service level expected within the company. The role will entail using the MRP and Excel Stock systems
Purchase order processing: ordering & re-ordering, placement of PO's for stock, R&D and other
Goods Received Notes (GRN)
Validation of purchase invoices re GRN & Haulage
Management of Goods returned, chasing re-supply or credit note
Management of mechanical & electrical sub-contractors - PO's & free issue kit lists
MRP - maintenance of supplier and component data files, incl re-order levels, pricing and routine data entry (incl booking out kit issue lists, stock requisitions and adjustments )
Hours - 9.00am - 5.30pm
Lunch - 1 hour
Holidays - 23 days + stats rising to 26 with service
