A highly sales orientated organisation that offers a lively, dynamic and fast paced working environment, LBM is currently looking to recruit a People Services Administrator to join the team at our Middleton site.

    Role Summary

    The People Services Administrator will be responsible for providing full administrative support to the Recruitment and HR functions combined. Working in a highly sales-orientated environment, the administrator will be accountable for ensuring that all HR and Recruitment processes are implemented and actionned in an efficient and timely manner.

    Key Responsibilities

     Collating new starter details and setting up accurately onto the payroll system in a timely manner.
     Co-ordinating reference/credit checks for potential new starters; generating reference requests and following up requests thereafter.
     Accurately maintaining candidate information on the HR/Recruitment system (Stac).
     Generating all forms of written communication (i.e. contracts, offer letters, invitations to hearings etc).
     Supporting the on-site recruitment team throughout the recruitment process (i.e. supporting with such activities as candidate sourcing, screening, assessing etc).
     Providing support to the HR Officer/HR Manager/Payroll Manager on a day to day basis and also on project basis.
     Ensuring that all correspondence is dealt with efficiently and allocated to the correct HR contact.
     Preparing Management Information with the HR/Recruitment Manager.

    Essential Skills

    Must have at least 6-12 months experience of working in an HR / Recruitment function.

    Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Personal Attributes

     Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to confidentially communicate with key operational interfaces.
     Must be able to demonstrate a high level of planning & organisation skills.
     Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to this role.
     Must demonstrate a flexible approach to working within a dynamic and fast paced working environment.
     Must be able to work on own initiative.
     An understanding of the activities of a HR / Recruitment department.

    Remuneration

    Salary: circa 16k
    Holiday Entitlement: 25 days/year
