The job holder will be required to use their strong marketing background in product development and product management to take from conception to launch and to ensure existing products continue to meet customer requirements.
Role Summary
The Data Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that LBM clients receive the highest level of service and deliverables in line with their individual business requirements. Clients attained will be a combination of project-only clients, requiring a quick turnaround from sale to completion, and well established, long standing clients who require a much more in-depth understanding of their acquisition and retention requirements. In addition, the Account Manager will be required to ensure the smooth completion of project lifecycles in a timely and efficient manner, communicating proficiently with all key internal interfaces. The position is within a larger Data Client Services team and a good level of support is provided from Senior Data Account Managers or Account Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Applying strong communication skills and solid organisational skills, the Data Account Manager will be responsible for managing the client’s data needs and requirements, ensuring a high service level and ensuring the provision of all key deliverables in line with client business requirements and often working to set timeframes.
The Account Manager will be allocated a varied client base and will therefore be required to competently handle multiple clients and projects at one time.
In line with key client requirements, the Data Account Manager must be able to demonstrate an ability to build strong working relationships with key internal interfaces, including Business Development, Data Managers, Analysts, Database developers, Web system developers and Data Fulfilment Executives.
The role of Data Account Manager will also include:
• Management of projects containing data bureau work or regular delivery of data via online and offline system.
• Being the central point of contact for their client. Ensuring the client receives constant communication updates, recognises the status of their work and understands all deliverables.
• Writing briefs for use by the Data Management, data processing or web development teams and proceeding to ensure they are understood before implementation.
• Hosting project team meetings with both internal and external members and seeing projects through to completion
• Continuously looking to identify new revenue opportunities with the clients and advising such to the Account Director, BDM/BDE. These opportunities are primarily related to customer acquisition or retention.
• Provision of reports to the Account Director and Senior Management Team covering revenue, any issues arisen within the provision of the projects and suggestions for service improvements
Essential Experience
Ideal candidates will have 2 years client management experience or similar agency environment experience, will be educated to degree level and will be looking to pursue a career in client management.
Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. A good knowledge of Microsoft Access is an advantage.
Candidates without previous consumer or business data experience will be considered.

• Must demonstrate a clear expert knowledge of business and consumer data processes and how UK business and consumer data is segmented.
• Must show an understanding of the importance of data usage within the business environment.
• Must be able to prioritise client requirements and show initiative by suggesting improvements.
• Must be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail is essential to this role.
• Must be able to confidently brief in projects to operations teams in both verbal and written format.
• Must be able to confidently co-ordinate the completion of tasks to tight deadlines, pulling together the timely completion of work by various teams within the company.

Hours of Work:
This is a very demanding position. Flexibility to business requirements is essential. Typically 8.30am to 6pm.
Remuneration
Salary £23,000 upwards dependent upon experience.
Bonus applicable after successful completion of probationary period.
