Full Description:
To deal with individual customer contacts, enquiries and requests in an effective manner to the satisfaction of the customer and in line with all procedures and standards.
Fully proficient in 18 months to 2 years
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent telephone skills, or the ability to develop these quickly
Knows the boundaries of the job and when it is appropriate to seek help from others
Able to receive and carry out instructions accurately
Applies all “housekeeping” standards and rules of behaviour effectively and correctly
Understands health and safety procedures necessary for safe working
Knows quality standards required for the job in hand
General understanding of the purpose and objectives of own work area and how it fits into the company
Relevant product knowledge in relevant areas
Able to establish an understanding of customer needs quickly
Able to answer/respond to a range of enquiries and to provide a range of services to customers
Able to work to deadlines
Keyboard/IT skills and working knowledge of all relevant software
Able to communicate effectively, typically verbally, but written where appropriate
Operation of standard office equipment in routine situations
Knowledge of relevant processes and procedures
Hours - Shifts including Saturdays - various to be advised
Lunch - 1 hour
Holidays - 25 days + stats
