Personal Injury Claims Handler
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join on of the UKs leading insurers on a new team based near Manchester as a Personal Injury Claims Handler.
About the Role:
You will handle your own caseload of Motor PI claims dealing with both Fast track and Multi track cases.
Operate within own area of accountability, escalating issues and seeking guidance when required.
Provide support, mentoring and guidance to develop the team.
Maintain and develop own technical knowledge and expertise.
Handling claims within authority levels (client and personal), ensuring any referral requirements are adhered to.
Providing audit resource as and when required.

One of the UKs leading providers of general insurance. The company are looking to set up a new PI claims motor team; they are a reputable company who will provide excellent career progression.
Key Skills Experience Required:
Experience of handling Motor Personal Injury claims from inception to completion.
Proven ability to handle a wide range of Motor Personal Injury claims including accurate reserving, use of experts and proactive approach to settlement.
Excellent knowledge of English law, the English PI legal system and good working knowledge of Scottish and NI systems, PAP and CPR and other jurisdiction equivalents.
Detailed fast track and multi track knowledge, practical experience and application.
Good case management, analysis and negotiation skills
Good IT and analysis skills.
