To provide an effective and strong administration service to the Sales and Engineering team.
* To deal with telephone sales enquiries taking customer details / orders and then processing them onto the in-house system
* Ensure that all customer files and any prospective sales files are kept in order and up to date
* Follow up sent quotes and information that has been sent to customers. Ensure that an accurate record of the conversation has been recorded for future records.
* Make appointments for the sales team by phoning up prospective customers ensuring that the sales team's diary is kept up to date
* Cover reception as and when required for holiday cover and sickness
* General administrative duties as required by the team
* Type up sales orders accurately
* Build effective relationships with all customers in view of future business
* Team Player
* Able to work in a team and unsupervised
* Strong IT skills to work with an in-house database
* Confident in using Word, Excel & Email
* Confident & Polite telephone manner
* Organised methodical in approach
* Some previous administrative experience
