Our client is looking to recruit an experienced candidate to fulfil the following duties:
Undertake all aspects of the financial and day to day administration of the finance office.
Motivating staff to achieve targets.
Completion of timely and accurate accounting month end procedures.
Provide support to the Director of Finance in the production of budgets and management and financial accounts.
Implement, operate and review all relevant control procedures.
Recruit, lead, motivate, coach, mentor and support team members.
Regularly review individual performance and undertake formal performance reviews.
Manage the month end procedures including reconciliation of sales and purchase ledgers.
Manage the treasury functions and complete bank reconciliations.
Key competencies:
Recognised accountancy qualification, 5 years experience in an accounting role, ability to manage the operations of a medium sized company. Strong IT Skills with particular ability in Excel and preferably Sage MMS.
