Inbound Sales and Customer Service Advisor
Salford Quays, Manchester
£16,100 plus uncapped bonus

Key responsibilities/Duties:
Delivering a high-quality effective telephone banking service to Barclays customers.
Investigating and understanding customer requirements in order to identify appropriate products and services.
Effectively identifying and promoting alternative and more complex products where applicable.
Handle, from start to finish, enquiry’s from customers concerning existing and new accounts.
Full training will be given, including classroom training and in a work support group with a mentor.
This role is permanent and will commence September 8th 2008. You will be working a 4 week rotating shift pattern which involves occasional weekend and evening work. Applicants must be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.
You must have:
Confident telephone manner
Basic keyboard skills
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
And:
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in a sales environment
Self motivation and a desire to succeed
Attention to detail
Be able to adapt to change and uncertainty
Team work
Ability to meet and be driven by targets
Previous experience within a contact centre environment would be highly desirable.
Previous experience in Financial Services or Sales would also be desirable.
