The Company
International Banking and Financial Services organisation awarded for its investment with people, renowned for their employee training and drenched in consumer awards for their financial product require support for the Reporting and Governance Manager in the shape of Governance and Basel Compliance Advisor.
The Aim
Support the Credit Risk strategy of the Bank by providing and maintaining core data and MI systems to the Credit Risk Control Unit.
The Specifics
Provide core data solutions (specifically the extraction, transformation and load process) that fully meet the business expectations and requirements by:
Translating requirements into detailed systems specifications
Challenge and shape requirements by providing advice based on knowledge of Bank and credit strategy data sources.
Accurately implementing requirements for the specified data solutions by following established change procedures and by designing and executing test plans and scripts.
Provide Training and support to enable CRCU analysts to access adhoc
Information using SAS and promote efficient coding standards and working practices
Ensure adequate control of core data solutions by:
Ensure that core data solutions continue to meet business needs
Appropriate candidates
H
Numerate / IT related degree
Experience of Credit Risk or Business Analysis.
Knowledge of data warehousing methodology, (For example, Star schemas and relational databases) and practical warehousing experience.
Experience of Microsoft Office products.
Experience of SAS programming.
Experience of dealing with complex, high volume data sources. Typically manipulating, merging and producing summary output from data sources with over 1 million records
Experience of using SAS Data Integration Studio to automate code and manage multiple, high volume data sets would be an advantage.
User Acceptance Testing, including preparation of test plans and scripts.
