Your role will require you to identify new product, channel and pricing opportunities across our client's personal lines portfolio and develop marketing campaigns with the on and offline teams to test and ultimately roll-out new products.
You will be responsible for proactively managing your own projects, from market analysis, cost benefit, implementation and post campaign analysis. You will report on key performance indicators and take accountability for sustaining marketing activities which enhance profitability across a number of product streams including Personal Accident, Life insurance, ID Protection and Health & Dental Cash plans
You will be required to work closely with the Insurance Development, Database and IT teams as well as the web, DM and Outbound teams within Marketing to deliver effective, profitable and sustainable campaigns.
Responsibilities within this role will include:
Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis on an on-going basis for all product areas.
Provide recommendations for products/prices/marketing offers for new and existing products
Work with all relevant internal departments (including Insurer Development, Finance, Bus. Change & ISD) to deliver new & existing product specifications,
Represent Marketing on relevant project teams to deliver new products & prices to market
Brief and monitor results and performance on an ongoing basis
Investigate any performance issues on all main KPI’s and provide recommendations for improvements
Contribute to monthly Board level reports for relevant areas of responsibility
Responsible for briefing external agencies for creative, strategy, research, PR and managing ongoing relationships including negotiation of prices and contractual terms
Briefing new product ideas to online, offline and Telemarketing teams and managing on an ongoing basis all developments and improvements in your product areas
Forecasting sales, revenue and cost budgets for new and existing product areas.
Skills and Experience Required:
Education/Qualifications
Educated to Degree level preferably with business/marketing specialism
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Highly competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The work experience you'll need
At least three years experience in a consumer marketing environment, FS/Insurance experience would be helpful but not essential
Project management experience
Confident in managing a diverse and demanding workload.
Management of relationships with Internal Departments & external agencies
