Our client is an Executive Research and Recruitment Consultancy based in Cheshire. They operate with a global client base and include Research, bespoke solutions, project management and due diligence consultancy services within the group.
The business development operations team undertake the initial prospecting and lead generation. They establish the appropriate level and quality of contacts within potential organisations and secure business meetings for the external team to attend.
As a Business Development Executive, responsibilities within the role will include:
Securing meetings with the right contact, gain knowledge about the decision maker and potential need
Successfully deliver each campaign, follow up on ad hoc leads
Secure qualified appointments where clients have implied a need with the key contact who has the authority for changing the way their business operates.
Accurately complete timesheets, call stats and any other tracking reports to ensure all information is kept up to date.
Demonstrate sales skills - getting past the gatekeeper.
This is a targeted role where you will be expected to generate revenue, achieve all targets for campaigns in terms of timescales.
Skills and Experience Required:
You should be of graduate calibre with a proven track record in B2B consultative relationship building
You must be able to demonstrate excellent client service skills and various communication styles to overcome difficult situations
You should be a strong team player, self motivated, credible, personable and tenacious.
You should be commercially focues with the drive to spot, create and develop opportunities to generate business.
