Criminal Duty SolicitorRef 08186am

A friendly, approachable firm that specialises in criminal, family, wills and probate and conveyancing are seeking a duty solicitor to join their team of duty solicitors and accredited police station representatives based in Manchester.

Our client is seeking either a newly qualified solicitor to join the rota for police station attendance, magistrates court and crown court work or a Duty Solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience who will also be required to join the rota for police station attendance but will also represent clients not only at the magistrates court but also at Crown Court.

You will need to have the knowledge and experience to advise, assist and represent clients who are faced with the prospect of criminal proceedings and will have to advise on all manner of criminal law from murder and manslaughter to the lesser speeding offences.

The salary for a newly qualified solicitor is in the region of £28k whilst the salary for someone with Higher Rights of Audience would be in the region of £35k.
